The things he learns…

A few days ago I had out painters tape in the play room.  Caden was needing a new activity so I put a bunch of pieces all over us and taught him how to peel it off.  I put the tape away and didn’t think anything of it.  Yesterday we were at Gymboree (a little play gym class) when I noticed Caden going from kid to kid messing with their clothes.  I figured hew as just exploring as usual.  It took me a few minutes to realize that Caden was methodically pulling off all the other kids name tags!  I guess he made the connection between the painters tape and the sticker name tags and thought it was a game!  I told him no, which although we have been working on it, he still thinks is hilarious, but truth be told I was secretly very proud of how he connected the dots

Yea for prints!!!

I just uploaded my first personal print order in 4 years!  Sad I know!  I spent almost a week deliberating on which photos to get printed for 5 picture frames I bought the hang on the wall behind my desk.  After narrowing it down to my favorite 117, I started asking myself what my problem was!  The whole front of my house is covered in huge prints of clients, but I have not a single family picture anywhere else in the house.  Not even one of Caden.  Craziness!!!

I have no good excuse.  We live and breathe photos.  I have taken over 10,000 personal photos in the past year.  We make at least one trip a week to our pro lab picking up prints for clients.  It is a mystery how not even one of those 10,000 hasn’t gotten printed.  I have been shamed to realize that every family member I have has more photos up of my son than I do!  Soo… I am printing 5 for my office, 55 for the refrigerator and I have another 25 picked out I need to buy frames for or will print as gallery wraps for the rest of the house.  So next time you are in my house ask me where our family photos are!  I need accountability in actually getting them up on the wall
