Sleep with your mouth shut

This morning Caden and I were eating breakfast while Adam slept.  All the sudden Caden fished a blueberry out of his cereal, got down from his chair, and ran into our room.  He very carefully got up onto our bed with out smooshing the blueberry, crawled over, and stuck it in Adam’s half open mouth while he slept.  Of course that woke Adam up and cracked me up.  What a sweet little boy to think of feeding Daddy his favorite food while he sleeps.

Look Alikes

I found this picture of Adam and his Dad in Adam’s baby book.  I showed it to Caden and he immediately told me it was Dada and Caden.  I can’t really argue with him there.  The similarity is almost spooky.  Especially if you have seen Adam lately sporting his short beard.  Everything comes back in style.  Obviously I have some really strong genes to compete with here

Surprise!!!

Adam and I are excited to officially announce that we are expecting our second baby in October! I am 12 weeks along. We got to see our sweet little baby doing crazy summersaults on an ultrasound this morning. Let’s hope that those summersaults are not a foreshadowing of another very active little one We will find out in about 6 weeks if it is a boy or girl so be looking for that announcement! We can’t wait!!!

Caden’s First Year Movie

As a Christmas gift for Adam I went through all our photos and videos and had a photo/video montage made for him.  Just sorting through the billions of files was an enormous task.  I generally stay on top of our photos because I know what to do with them.  Videos are a whole other animal.  One that I generally pretend doesn’t exist.  I spent absolutely every free minute on it for almost a month.  I could only do it while Adam was at work so he probably started wondering why I could never get anything done around the house  This covers Caden’s birth through 14 months.  Enjoy!
